Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatment is recommended for patients with crooked teeth, gaps, overcrowding, or bite problems such as overbite, underbite, or crossbite. Straight teeth are easier to clean and maintain, which helps reduce the risk of cavities and gum disease. Treatment plans are created based on each patient’s needs after a full examination and X-rays if required.

Metal Braces

Metal braces are a common and effective orthodontic treatment. They consist of small metal brackets attached to the teeth and connected by a thin wire. The wire is adjusted regularly to gently move the teeth into the correct position over time.

Metal braces are strong and suitable for treating mild to complex alignment problems. Regular follow-up visits are needed to monitor progress and make adjustments. Good oral hygiene is important during treatment to keep teeth and gums healthy.

Clear Aligners (Invisalign)

Clear aligners, such as Invisalign, are transparent removable trays designed to fit over the teeth. They gradually shift teeth into proper alignment. The aligners are custom-made and replaced every few weeks as the teeth move.

Clear aligners are less noticeable than metal braces and can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing. They are suitable for mild to moderate alignment issues. For best results, aligners must be worn for the recommended number of hours each day.

Orthodontic treatment requires patience and regular monitoring. The length of treatment depends on the condition being corrected. After treatment is completed, retainers may be recommended to maintain the new position of the teeth.

Our goal is to provide safe, careful, and well-planned orthodontic care to help patients achieve properly aligned teeth and a healthy bite.
